One front door to Indian medicine — wherever you’re flying from.
Each of our 66 country guides starts with the patient’s passport, language, payment route and practical journey. Hospital review and travel coordination begin only after the case and consent are clear.
How it works
Five steps, and you can stop at any one of them.
No travel is booked or committed until a hospital has provided its clinical plan and estimate in writing and you have reviewed both. CureYatra explains the applicable country-specific fee timing before any payment is requested.
Start the case
Begin with a non-sensitive enquiry. We then provide case-specific instructions for reports and consent. Nepal patients pay the annual NPR 5,000 fee with complete reports before hospital submission; patients from other countries pay no CureYatra fee at this stage.
Specialist review
Suitable hospitals decide whether they can accept the case, and which senior specialist would lead it.
Written plan & estimate
The hospital issues its own clinical opinion and a costed estimate. You compare before deciding.
Confirm & prepare
After the patient accepts an appointment, patients outside Nepal pay the fixed INR 5,000 coordination fee before travel. We then coordinate the invitation letter, applicable visa route and arrival plan.
Treatment & return
One coordinator on the ground, then follow-up scheduling once you are home.
Getting to India
Three broad routes—always confirm the current rule.
e-Medical Visa ELIGIBLE NATIONALITIES
Eligibility, validity, entries and application timing must be checked on the official Indian e-Visa website for the patient’s passport. CureYatra can help organise hospital documentation but cannot guarantee approval or processing time.
Medical (MED) visa EMBASSY / IVAC
Some patients use the regular Medical Visa route through the competent Indian mission. FRRO registration depends on the visa’s validity, endorsed stay and nationality; it is not a universal 14-day requirement for every medical-visa traveller.
Treaty-based travel NEPAL / BHUTAN CONDITIONS
Citizens of Nepal and Bhutan generally do not require an Indian visa when the official nationality, identity-document and route conditions are met. We confirm the applicable documents before travel.
Visa rules can change. Use the official Indian Visa portal and the relevant Indian mission as the authoritative sources. A hospital invitation supports an application but does not create a right to a visa.
