Clear roles before any medical journey begins.
These terms distinguish CureYatra’s coordination role from the independent medical, immigration and travel decisions made by others.
Facilitation—not medical care
CureYatra does not practise medicine. Doctors and hospitals alone determine diagnosis, suitability, risks, treatment, admission, discharge and follow-up. Website content and coordinator messages are not medical advice.
Independent hospitals and providers
Hospitals, doctors, interpreters, hotels, airlines, transport providers, insurers and visa authorities are independent. A name on the website does not establish a partnership, endorsement or guaranteed availability.
Estimates and payments
A hospital estimate is not a fixed final bill unless the hospital expressly states so. Clinical changes, complications, extended stays, high-cost medicines, implants or additional tests may change it. Medical charges must be paid directly to the hospital using instructions confirmed with that hospital.
CureYatra fee timing
- Nepal: the NPR 5,000 case-coordination fee is charged per patient per year and is valid for 12 months from the payment date for the same patient. It is payable with complete medical reports and record-sharing consent, before CureYatra organises and submits the case to hospitals for treatment plans or estimates.
- All other countries: no CureYatra fee is payable for the initial enquiry, report review or appointment coordination. The fixed INR 5,000 travel and admission coordination fee becomes payable only after the patient accepts a hospital appointment and decides to travel, and before arrival in India.
The displayed CureYatra fee is inclusive of applicable taxes. Hospital, doctor, diagnostic, medicine, implant, treatment, visa, flight, accommodation, transport, interpreter, insurance and other third-party costs remain separate. A payment acknowledgement or invoice is issued for the CureYatra fee.
Cancellation and refund
For Nepal, cancellation before CureYatra begins organising records or contacting a hospital may qualify for a refund; once that work begins, the fee is non-refundable. For other countries, once the post-appointment fee is paid and travel or admission coordination has begun, it is non-refundable. Mandatory consumer rights, where applicable, are not excluded.
Visa, travel and timing
CureYatra may provide guidance and help organise documents, but immigration authorities decide visas and entry. Airlines and border authorities decide carriage and admission to travel. No processing time, flight, appointment or treatment date is guaranteed.
Patient responsibilities
- Provide complete and accurate information and identify the lawful patient representative.
- Seek urgent local care rather than waiting for an online reply in an emergency.
- Review the hospital’s treatment consent, risks, estimate, exclusions and refund terms.
- Verify payment instructions directly with the hospital before transferring money.
- Carry valid identity, visa, insurance and travel documents and follow treating-doctor advice.
Website information
Country, visa, flight, price, accreditation and treatment information can change. Dated guidance is rechecked for an individual case. External links are provided for convenience and remain controlled by their respective operators.
Privacy and records
Use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy and Patient Consent page. Do not submit sensitive information through the public contact form.
Complaints and governing law
Raise a complaint at info@cureyatra.in so it can be investigated and acknowledged. These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to mandatory rights that may apply to a consumer in another jurisdiction. Courts of competent jurisdiction in Hyderabad, Telangana apply unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Country-specific service terms
Current case-coordination terms are stated on the relevant country guide and confirmed in writing before acceptance. Hospital, doctor, medicine, implant, diagnostic, travel, visa, accommodation and living costs remain separate and are payable by the patient.
Indicative timelines
Any response time, review window, visa processing duration or treatment schedule stated on this website (including figures marked with an asterisk, such as “48 hours” or “3–5 working days”) is indicative only. Visa decisions and their timing rest solely with the Government of India; clinical schedules rest with the treating hospital. CureYatra does not guarantee any timeline, approval or outcome.
